First, you want to make sure that the battery is disconnected so you don't short circuit anything. Get the correct wiring harness and antenna adapter.

To get the trim off from the middle section, you'll need to remove two screws. One is below the cigarette lighter and the other is below the ashtray drawer. Remove the ashtray and you will see the second one more easily. after you remove these, you must deal with two or three clips at the top of the section of trim. You will have to pull a bit on these because they are quite strong. As long as you are gentle, you will probably not break them. You can use your fingers to pry the top off, or a screwdriver or something like that. The next thing you have to take care of is the hazard light harness. You cannot move the trim out of the way while this harness is still connected. You can squeeze the clip and pull. It should come right out. The only other thing connected to the trim at this time, should be the cigarette lighter. You do not have to remove this. you can twist the trim out of the way just fine with it on there.

With the trim out of the way, you can see how the headunit is held in. You will see four screws holding the headunit in place. Remove these, and disconnect the wiring harness and antenna from the back, and the headunit will be free. Now you can take it to a place where you can work on it more.

You should be able to tell which screws to take out on the sides now that you have it in plain view. Just install the harness and antenna converter pieces, and do the steps in reverse. You will be on the road in no time.
